Traveling with kids can feel like a full-on rodeo, between wrangling luggage, keeping snacks in check, and making sure the toddler stays entertained, it’s no small job. After our trip to California this past weekend, I wanted to round up the products that truly made traveling smoother. These are the things I’ll never head to the airport without again.
1. Carseat Carrier With Wheels

This carrier is hands down, one of my favorite travel finds. I use the Graco Slim Fit car seat, and it fits perfectly into this rolling car seat travel bag. Having wheels makes all the difference when you’re navigating the airport solo. Plus, it gives me peace of mind knowing our car seat will stay clean and damage-free until we reach our destination.
2. Folding Kids Tricycle
This was the MVP of the whole weekend. My toddler was obsessed with this foldable kids’ tricycle, and I loved how practical it was. It folds up easily, has storage in both the front and back, comes with a sunshade, and rolls smoothly across any terrain. Whether it was airport sidewalks or uneven ground at the horse show, this trike handled it like a champ.

3. Packing Cubes
I’ll admit it, I’m an organization nerd when it comes to traveling with my son. Packing cubes are my secret weapon. They keep my toddler’s clothes, diapers, toys, and all the little extras neatly separated. My favorite hack? I stash the packing cubes inside the car seat bag with the car seat itself. It saves me from having to check an extra bag and keeps everything together.
4. Toddler Busy Board

This little gem lives in my diaper bag and was a total lifesaver during flights and layovers. With five different activities, this toddler busy board keeps my little one entertained and learning at the same time. It also came in clutch when I needed a few distraction-free minutes to get horses ready. It’s compact and endlessly engaging, what more could a mama ask for?
5. Snack Cups
Let’s be honest, no mom wants to leave a trail of Cheerios through the airport. These spill-proof snack cups keep everything contained, mess-free, and easy to refill. I love that they fit a wide variety of snacks and are durable enough to handle travel days. Simple, but seriously game-changing.
Final Thoughts
Traveling with kids will always come with its challenges, but these five products turned what could’ve been a stressful trip into a smooth ride. From keeping my toddler entertained to organizing our essentials, each of these items has earned a permanent spot on my packing list.
If you’re planning a trip soon, whether it’s by plane, car, or rodeo weekend getaway, consider adding these to your must-haves. Your future self will thank you.
